| | | i want to talk about A) my really shit feet that hurt so much, B) comfortable shoes i work on my feet all day long and basically my feet just can't take it. they ache so so much ALL THE TIME (i've been working 12 hours days since sunday at the artois tennis thing in london) basically after half a day of working they're painful. every minute thereafter, the pain increases. as the days go by they start to hurt earlier and earlier, til today, when it hurt while walking to work they hurt when i'm not standing on them. they're aching now.
i think it's a combination of my high arches, and being heavy (more pressure on smaller areas the foot?). i did have this when i was skinny though. back in high school when i worked fast food.
my feet ALWAYS hurt.
i mean i have shit feet?
i don't have any proper trainers and i want to buy some but i don't want to spend money on shit shoes. because i've got shoes that are normally comfoprtable but they are destroyed by the end of one day
i need help and advice please i'm in serious pain

| | My feet used to hurt all the time - and I work sitting down - so a few years ago I started getting serious about arch support. I was never one to care about shoes, so I tended to just buy cheap black flats and wear them into the ground. I found out there was a shoestore catering to problem feet right near my office so I went there. So now I buy my shoes either there or from this place called footsmart: FootSmart :: Shoes, Socks, Slippers, Support Hose, Foot Care, Orthopedic & Comfort Products They make those individual insoles (although I've never done that).
My feet (and probably yours) aren't that seriously problematic, so it's not like I'm wearing othopedics, or something that looks that way. I just wouldn't have known which more expensive shoes would take care of my problem without having first gone to that store.

| | | i did buy some insoles and some gel support things from boots a few weeks back but they didn't help much.
i suppose it's difficult for anybody here to tell me what i need to buy. perhaps i should see a doctor
i'm sceptical about any shoe actually ever being comfortable ever

| | | I tried some drugstore inserts and they didn't really work either. I'm sure it was getting better shoes that helped.
Well, if you ever happen to be in New York, I can tell you a store to go to. Can you see a doctor? Foot pain really sucks. It was making me totally crazy before I finally got it sorted, and I don't even work on my feet.
