I just spent £8.50 on 'Big Hair' shampoo that despite claiming it will make my hair all shiny and glossy, felt like i'd washed it with washing up liquid and dried it out. I am not a happy bunny.

Oh, xray - that sucks. I've never known anyone to have a bad Big experience.

I know, did i do something wrong? It's full of glowing reviews on the site! If it doesn't improve next time i use it, i'm going to take it back. I loved the coolaulin conditioner though, my hair still smells of coconuts

it's a clarifying shampoo.

all the salt & **** is drying.

it's for oily hair or just occassional. clarifying.

i've never used it bc frankly it terrifies me.

Hmm. How would you describe your hair usually?

I recommended it to lots of people with lots of different hair types and they all loved it. My hair's pretty normal and it made it really shiny and so, so soft. My boyfriend mum has really fine, really thin hair that's fried and in desperate condition and she's started using it too and loves it, so I don't tend to think of it as drying... Maybe you'd be best with the solid shampoo, Seanik? It's got the salt for volumising, but also loads of seaweed for nourishing your hair.
