| | | I bought these things on Saturday:
Aqua Mirabilis
Ma Bar
A set of three soaps including:
Rock Star (smells like Cremola Foam!)
Honey, I Washed The Kids
I Should Coco
Mmmm! My boyfriend had the most miserable face ever while we were in the shop - he hates the overpowering smell, but he concedes that the products smell lovely individually.

| | | Lush products works soo well for me! of course, they are very expensive, which is ok if you know they definately DO work for ou but otherwise a bit scary.
I bought Celestial last Friday and it has made my skin beautiful! more eventoned, literally no spots at all and it sinks in beautifully! i'm in love with it to be honest lol.
Also, Retread, the conditioner. it's pretty good but it was a kind last resort as my hair desperatly needs a cut but they could only fit me in tomorrow (this was like 3 weeks ago). my haur however actually looks ok with this stuff, easier to brush, it really sinks in and you don't have to use much.
I also like Angels on Bare Skin- just perfect (although i've ran out of it now, but angels with celestial may just cause me to die of happiness and nice skin!) |

| | | i'm having a shitty day, so i went to lush to spend some cash, and to buy some bath bombs for tonight.
and low and fucking behold.. what is playing in lush?
HOLE. the whole pretty on the inside album.
i felt like KR was stalking me, clotty specifically.
and then i went to the cashier counter, and looked at the gothy girls who work there.. and my cashier who has "VEGAN!" tattooed up her wrist/forearm.. and thought well... it figures.

| | | 1. sea vegetable soap: left a light waxy residue.. not cool lush, not cool. but smelled lovley. claims to have "exfoliating" qualities.. but i didnt notice them one bit. i'll continue to use it, but won't buy it again. smells nothing like what's written on the label. 2. lite lips balm: i'm only half sure this is the corrrect name. i could walk over to my purse and check, but no. it's okay... sortof flavourless and such. won't buy again. and will probably only use at night from now on 3. sakura bath bomb: great, much better than the butterfly one. less obnoxious smelling, leave a shimmer (NOT glitter) in the water, which is nice. as i dont want a glitters in my vajayjay. will buy it again, and recommend it to others. no color though.. to the water.
4. rehab shampoo: not good for everyday use, but maybe like once a week. certainly did what it promised and rehabbed my hair, and it felt better upon rinsing, but would leave my hair (maybe not yrs though) heavy and sortof gross if i used it everyday. i'm going to keep it in my cupboard from now on for those days when my hair needs, help.
5. dream cream: is totally kickass, smells great. i mean.. really great. i have no complaints. i think i'm addicted. though i hear karma cream gives it a run for it's money.
and now that there's a lush store in my local mall, and it's pretty big too. i will be frequenting lush more often. they're also hiring, if anyone wants a job, and wants to run into me regularly.
i plan on getting a little drunk this evening and trying the blackberry bath bomb.
edit: 6. blackberry bath bomb: rad purple colour, i'm a big big fan. not as like, relaxing or pretty smelling as sakura, but i'd buy it again.

| | | Orchestral, if you want the exfoliating porperties, pick a 'naked' slice with the salt crystals visible in the top. It's only a light lather but it certainly shouldn't leave a waxy coating on your skin. Was it very warm?
You only need a tiny bit of Rehab - try halving the amount you used and see if that's better for lesving your hair less heavy. TBH I only use it every now and then too, I'm a Cynthia Sylvia Stout girl. |

| | | well, i like to tan. and to get a good tan you have to religiously moisturize and heavily exfoliate. and i just dont think the lush soaps will cut it. so i thin i'm gonna switch to the.. i think it's called sea salt scrub? it's blue and comes in a big black tub. and use that in conjunction with dream cream.
i think it'll work.
and thanks for the tip on the rehab shampoo.

| | | shit. it's too late to edit, but i'm going to take back what i said about the lite lips balm.
its the BEST PRODUCT i've ever put on my lips. it took a couple days to really, like be effective. but it's changed the texture of my lips to absolute and sheer perfection.
i still dont think it feels/smells/or tastes that great (certainly not as good as some more mainstream products) but it seriously works. it will be on my nightstand for.. ever.

and thanks for the tip on the rehab shampoo. | Yeah, for good exfoliation and moisturising, you either want a body butter bar like Buffy the Backside slayer, You Snap the Whip or Aqua Mirablis, or the Ocean Salt, but be careful with that, it's really abrasive, and the combination of vodka and grapefruit and lime oils are really toning, but they also sting like a bitch if you get them in sore skin. |

| | | Sympathy for the Skin is my ALL TIME favourite moisturiser for my body. It smells so gorgeous I adore it.
On my hair I use Rehab and American Cream.
also love Angels.
I worked for Lush for four years, and the big confirmation of the quality and effectiveness of the products is the fact that you still buy it full price without staff discount after you leave! |
