| | | mmm melomint.
i don't know what others products are in the sale, but my fave (discontinued) lush products are:
skinny dip shower gel
freeze shower gel
the sicilian ballistic
bollywood ballistic
skin sin body lotion
potion body lotion
aura suvaris bubble bar
happy birthday mr president bubble bar
i'm sure there's more. lush is epic fail when it comes to discontinuing my favourite products.
and clotty, we don't have the honey dusting powder over here, what's it like? does it have glitters in it?

| | But a lot of the stuff on the retro listing seems to be beschtuffed with glittaarrs.
But then I'm not remotely close to being a beginners version of the definitive proper Lush-ing that you are.
Oh hay clotty, this means you should write a bookyschnook, imo. It could maybe be titled something like 'Guide To Epic Lushing For The Terminally Bewildered' , by Clottyus The Great ". Or something, ANYTHING.
It could have stern warningas about "This is only WIN if you do not have colour-treated hair. Otherwise: Epic Fail! "
And stuff.
It mite be hard tho, bc there are Lushites who are wild about pretty much anything that glitters.
And others ( proly we're a minority? idk, but based on the prcentage of their products that are all SPARKLE STARKLE SPACKLE woo hoo! I'm just guessin'..))Well.
No Glitters Ever. It should be in the Bible, the Constitution, and the Elementary School Curriculum.
Pls do it. For THE KIDZ!

| | they'd be hating pretty hard.
bc i like to talk the shit.
they do love their fairy glittarz, and the ones that don't are patchouli-loving witches. "green scents are mature scents."
they don't like being told that stuff is gonna strip their hair color, or give them skin scabies, or cystic acne. at all.
in fact they will argue w/ you even as it happens before their very eyes.
plus lush would really sue me for slander.
also.
hair hennas fucking ming.
there used to be a pic thread on the big north american lush forum, and o man.
you thought kr pic threads were delusional. but you have seen NOTHING.

| | | i am pretty sure you are not supposed to use hair dye on hair that has been henna'd anyway.
the chemicals clash or sthng and your hair can burst right into flames.

dye | I don't think it's just Lush henna. Henna is one of the most protective things you can put on your hair. It kind of coats or seals it so it's strong. Hair that holds dye best tends to be somewhat stripped or damaged, and henna will have a damn good go at fixing stripped hair. Quote:

have to wait until the WHOLE LOT HAS GROWN OUT? | Have you tried using lots of Rehab on it?
I henna'd my hair last Thursday and it looked ace for maybe two days and now you can't tell it ever happened.

I henna'd my hair last Thursday and it looked ace for maybe two days and now you can't tell it ever happened. | so this is probably a dumb question, but what about using henna on hair that's already been dyed? will it look okay?
it's just that i dyed my hair in feb and it had a pretty devastating effect - half my hair fell out. so i'm not about to run out and buy more commercial dye. but my hair needs dyeing again because ew regrowth. so will lush henna hold and/or look good or will it just fail? |
