Oh dear
Is the jasmine bit really stinky or sthg? I mean, I really lurve proper jasmine-note scent when it's well done (*snob*) and smells lovely and fresh

& do you find it just overpoweringly sweet/floral? Tell me pls?

I've encountered "jasmine" scents before which were pretty dreadful and smelt all dusty like stale , well...age-old gone-bad dusting powder. Which is rly awful imo
I'm wondering too if it's an issue w/the proportion and/or formula for the combining of the diff vanilla + jasmine (and who knows whatever else is iin it but oh wellz ) Idk; one of my long-ago srs faves has jasmine+lemongrass+ a slight dash corriandar: subtle and very summery-fresh smellling I still use it when I can find it, not so easily available anymore.

Sorry you're so disappointed w/it. I don't like overpoweringly strong Vanilla Scent (it makes me think that I could have just dabbed a bit of Vanilla-Bean baking extract behing my ears or w/e, hah)

sigh.

Can you return it at all? Or perhaps you've not bought any yet, just smelt it in a sample ?

Anyway. Tyvm for the heads-up.

xo Chyia, forewarned in time
& P.S.: hereabouts a teen is allowed to have a part-time job @ age 14, altho their hours per week or pay period or w/e are limited, and in most cases they must apply for a work permit. Child labour laws n shit, yanno. Just sayin'.

I found the jasmine to be way too OTT and floral. Especially the perfume. The lotion isn't quite as bad. I don't find that it smells all that much like vanilla either. BUT, it is from the Australian Lush factory, so the US version might smell different anyway.
