I've encountered "jasmine" scents before which were pretty dreadful and smelt all dusty like stale , well...age-old gone-bad dusting powder. Which is rly awful imo
I'm wondering too if it's an issue w/the proportion and/or formula for the combining of the diff vanilla + jasmine (and who knows whatever else is iin it but oh wellz ) Idk; one of my long-ago srs faves has jasmine+lemongrass+ a slight dash corriandar: subtle and very summery-fresh smellling
I still use it when I can find it, not so easily available anymore.
Sorry you're so disappointed w/it. I don't like overpoweringly strong Vanilla Scent (it makes me think that I could have just dabbed a bit of Vanilla-Bean baking extract behing my ears or w/e, hah)
