Christian yoga (another reason to hate)

Yoga for Christians: A Christ-Centered Approach to Physical and Spiritual Health with DVD... price comparison at MSN Shopping
Yoga for Christians: A Christ-Centered Approach to Physical and Spiritual Health with DVD...

I mean Why?????????? Christ has nothing to do with this and to merge him into it??!! If anything Buddah was more likely to sit under a tree in a lotus flower position.

What's wrong with regular yoga?
Oh yeah, cause those asian bastards are blaspheming pagans and like yoga, well we dont want to encorporate anything remotely linked with eastern philosophy/spiritualism into our oh so Christian lives.....

Surely the reason?
Actually its just another "idea" for money making, using guillable religious folk to explore this area without feeling guilty about their Christianity.

Take all the best ideas from the non-believers that you condemn to hell. Yep, that's the Christian way. Always has been.

yoga isn't buddhist. it's one of the six schools of hindu philosophy.

i read up on her philosophy. she claims that she has encorporated "christian meditations".

sounds like fun - quoting matthew in the position of krishna, all u need now is to be facing in the direction of mecca and it's good for another few million.

Didnt say it was, just saying if you are gonna take a religious iconic figure and mish mash it into another religious context, Jesus would seem the least obvious and least compatible choice. I was thinking more along the line, Jesus wont be doing the lotus flower position anytime soon......

Yoga philosophy does not promote any religion or rather it supports all. It is a religion in it self (for me any way) Basic idea is it does not matter what you believe in just as long as you believe. Christianity presents world in black and white while Yoga promotes balance.
I'd love to go in farther but I'm drunk
