Insomnia!

I have been sleeping so unfunnily badly this week I'm at my wits end. Last night I was still awake at 8.30am and I mean WIDE AWAKE, I'd not even been close to sleepy all night. I know all the shit about sleep hygiene, hot baths, camomile tea, herbal remedies (valerian etc), antihistamines (don't work), exercising in the day etc. Normally sleep dieting works for me, but this week has been a constant sleep diet and I'm still fucked on the sleep schedule front. I have sleeping pills, but since I only kicked a three year addiction to them last year, I'm unkeen to try it again. I just want to hear other people's horror stories at the moment to keep me going....

i have trouble sleeping and normally its because i intake way to much sugar and cafinated things also things that have alot of saturated fat affect my sleeping pattern. also eating b4 bed or not eating enough throughout the day. dehydration also can cause it sometimes.

I do eat a lot of sugar throughout the day but generally not within about 8 hours of going to bed. Its all about the complex carbohydrates then...

One night I was working on a presentation for artclass. Around 3am I decided I was done, cause I had an early appointment with someone in the morning. I was hoping to get some sleep and prevent looking like some pale neurotic psycho in front of the class. So time was passing by and it became 4am..5am..5.30.. To keep in mind that I hadn't slept properly the entire week. It's the strangest thing to be so damn tired that you can't even close your eyelids. Your body starts adjusting itself to the malfunctioned rhythm and completely destroys a clear mind. Not that I ever had one anyway, but still. I was totally losing my patience in class, shaking constantly, it was a nightmare.
