Prickly heat

Jesus christ I hate it!
Its been sunny for the paast week, not even "summer" weather just kinda mid spring sunshine...and I already have a massive patch of it on my forearm.

Its itching like mad, I hate the fact that my forearms get completely ruined every summer!

Anyone else suffer from this? Anything you use that actually works?
Because the cream the doctors have given me since I was 7, DOES NOT WORK.
They also tell me to cover my arms up, not being funny but when its 31 degrees outside you hardly feel like wearing a bloody cardigan!

Help, its driving me INSANE.

maybe the cream doesn't work anymore cuz your body has gotten used to it and built up an immunity?

have you tried going back to your doctor and seeing if there's anything else they can give you?

i've never had anything like this but i think cortisone creams are supposed to help with itching.

melle will become famous soon enough
I've had a similar thing, i used hydrocortisone cream (daktacort), its now non-prescription. I used to get it on my feet (sorry!), my doctor used to say it was athlete's foot and give me stuff for that, which never worked. I put up with it for years until I went to a different dr who gave me hydrocortisone cream- I had to put it on 3x a day and it worked straight away.
