I brush - 3 times a day but I have been told i brush too much as i have actaully eroded one of my front teeth!

My diet is full of wholegrain bread, veg and natural stuff.

I just brush twice a day. I occasionally use mouthwash. I have never flossed.

if you brush three times a day use a soft bristle toothbrush and only do a thorough brush in am. flossing is supposed to be once a day.

ive taken pretty crappy care of my teeth. in my twenties i didnt know what a tooth brush was and now i brush once or twice a day with flossing once every few days. i still have only had one cavity in 30 years. i might have had a cavity when i was 7. and i had one more when i was 29 and hadnt seen a dentist in 19 years.

i brush twice a day, and use a pre-brush mouthwash before and a post-brush mouthwash after both times.

i try to floss. but it's hard. i don't like it.

I use that Listerine pre-brush whitening rinse at night, brush twice a day, floss whenever necessary, and I use those Crest white-strips about every 9 months.

i go to the dentist every 6 months for a check up and have my teeth whitened once a year.

hgow much does it cost to have your teeth whitened? is it laser or something else?

I really only remember to brush once a day in the morning, and if I'm going out in the evening I will sometimes brush then. Lately I've also been in the habit of flossing in the morning, mainly because I have crazy crowding in my bottom front teeth and they were starting to look terribly stained where they cross over.

Other than that, I have my regular 6 month check up and also have a scale & polish at the same time as that.



On a similar dental note, my brother had two of his wisdom teeth removed a week ago, crazy swelling occurred, and his face has looked like this for the past week:



I don't want my wisdom teeth removed now.

getting them removed was literally the most painful experience of my life

I also use Crest white strips every few months to fight the staining caused by the loads of coffee and tea I drink. I've read Crest white strips used in excess can damage the teeth, so perhaps I shouldn't include it here.

I brush twice a day and that's it.
I should floss but i'm lazy. And my teeth either have gaps or are overlapping, so the floss either does nothing (for the big gaps) or you can't fit it in between the teeth....im supposed to use these little tiny toothbrushes for the big gaps... but they make my gums bleed and it takes too long.

I used to brush 3 times a day (never really realised i did it... once after breakfast, once between after school and going to work - and then when i got home from work) ...

I have erroding gums

My periodontist told me that mouthwash is pretty much useless and that I should save my money. I still like to use it occasionally though.

Brush twice a day (minus the odd falling into bed can't be bothered night) with a whitening high fluoride toothpaste.

Never use mouthwash
Chew sugarfree gum.

Never had any problems, minus the odd bit of wearing that I've had corrected but that was from biting/grinding. Probably would have had more if I'd left them as crooked and crowded as I was born with.

3x a day plus Listerine
floss at night

Havent had any issues with them yet thankfully.
