| muscle spasms/knots are there any specific vitamins or supplements i could/should take for that? broke my back last may and since then ive had a massive knot or spasm behind my left shoulder blade. it gets so bad i cant sit, lie down or stand straight without feeling like im ripping all the muscle apart or like theres a softball pushing my shoulder out. cant afford massage therapy because my insurance wont cover it. did physical therapy and it helped massively while i went but they cut me off saying there wasnt anything more they could do. the bones have healed perfectly and teh only pain i have left is this damned spasm. help please.

| ive got a muscle spasm in my neck currently so i know how horrible this can be. im unable to work even. my nerves were affected and still are off and on. its only been a week and i find this to be an awful experience. my internal med doc put me on valium with rest and im due back at work tomorrow. the valium helps stave off the pain but i cant work on valium and without valium ive been a mess. yesterday i went to see a chiropractor and he appled TENS, then ultrasound and adjusted my C5 as well as worked on my lower back which always causes problems for me. he told me to get an ortho support pillow which helped as well. my IM doc recommended nothing. maybe you could try chiropractic medicine? or acupuncture if you are in a large city, there might be an accupuncurist who is worth his salt. my FIL is seeing an accupuncturist, but i cant do that as its so pricy. chiropractors will work out a deal with you, but they require monies too. i dont know what your financial situation is.... did you have the car insurance pay for your accident medical coverage or did you have medical coverage? have you gone to see a chiropractor?

| well, car insurance covered 5,000. that day i was actually coming back from applying for state med insurance (lolz) so thats what i have now. they def wont cover a chiropractor. i LOVE chiros. love love them. went to one from the time i was 5 to about 10 for skulliosis, which i understand to be a common but not very severe problem for 80s babies. i miss having my back and neck adjusted, always feels so good afterwards. i need to find one around here. here being a very very small town. population less than or just over 300. currently i live with dad and have no bills because i work for him for free, so money is a small problem. he pays me what he can when he can, but it isnt really much. my back doc put me on flexeril for the spasm. it works ok sometimes, but other times im just too tight. my neck and shoulders are ALWAYS tight no matter what, so im sure that doesnt help much. what made your neck spasm?
