i recently had acupuncture for the first time. i went to an acupuncturist/chiropractor so she did an adjustment afterward as well. one of my good friends sees her regularly and suggested i come along.

i was surprised that you don't feel the needles really at all. they were all over my body and it's hard to explain but you feel a sensation of energy moving around in your body. i did feel tension alleviated and my mood was highly elevated when i left. i also thought her diagnosis of me overall was very accurate.

i would highly recommend it.

i had acupuncture as part of my physiotherapy for my jaw problem.

is acupuncture expensive?
i want to get the one where they heat the needle up and stuff, i want to FEEL it.

on oprah the other day she had a acupuncturist on who said it can cure common illness to fatal disease. shes so irresponsible sometimes i wonder, where did the oprah of yesteryear go?

i am inclined to believe acupuncture can cure fatal diseases or at the least soothe the symptoms.
my friends grandma was dying of cancer in horrible pain about 6 months ago, they had tried everything medically, hardcore painkillers didn't ease the pain. on her death bed, she started receiving acupuncture (the last few weeks) and it was the ONLY thing that ever gave her relief and she voiced she had wished that she had sought it sooner. unfortunately she had progressed too far along and it was only able to provide her comfort in her final days.
