my mouth has errupted in the past 2 days into this huge swollen mess, inside there are these huge ulcers on both sides, & outside there's this gross pusy cold sure.

i never normally get cold sores or ulcers despite the copious amounts of junk i eat. what causes it? how likely is it that it's from giving head to my bf - & if this is likely, does it mean he has an std? or could it just be stress? also, how do i fix it? google says to just gargle with salt water, can you use normal salt or should it be sea salt?

also, my wisdom teeth have been coming through for a few months now, do wisdom teeth normally give people cold sores?

i've never heard of ulcers being passed from another person (I used to have them realllllly badly)
i also used to eat shite but in the end it caught up with me in the form of the most painful, disgusting ulcers in the world. i drink loads of fruit smoothies now though and i don't get them. so i guess they can be a product of your diet. also, if anyone tells you mouth ulcers can be caused by stress - its a myth. ask for some adcortyl in orabase at your chemist, its absolutely brilliant stuff for bad mouth ulcers.
i don't know much about cold sores, but they're basically mouth herpes aren't they? so you could well have caught it from your bf but its unlikely, you're probably just a bit under the weather, hence the ulcers at the same time.

eurgh i had lemon in my water last night and i've woken up with three new ulcers. sadface. i love lemon.

Mouth ulcers can be caused by a lack of vitamin B (I think its B). If I wasn't poorly I would get my textbook out of my locker at work and tell you.
