Are your parents writers/artists? Share some of their work.
My mom painted very very well in high school, but like everything else, she didn't stick with it, and won't pick up a paint brush anymore (she was also a great swimmer, but avoids pools at all cost now). I wish I had some of her pieces. She stored them in our car hold, which burnt down 10 years ago.

My great aunt is a painter (mostly water colours) and a photographer. She's retired so it's basicly all she does now, all her friends are artists too.

My dad can draw pretty well too only he never does.

My grandma used to play piano and draw with charcoal and pastels.
