this is the reason i'm lonely
this is an ode to no one

i must have been raped by the darkness
i crossed my own name off my wish list
the memory of it seems so perfect
i can't recall nor forget it

i want a funneral for something
death was my only beginning
i was born straight into your pitty
i want you all to cry with me

Excluding the opening lines / refrain, I thought it was ok. Reminds me of something Courtney might pen circa MBTHG. Keep it up. I have suspicions that you have better poetry than this. If so, do post.

i do have better poems but the problem is that i feel like i USED to write good poetry.

everytime i've tried to write in the past couple of years it seems to be mediocore blah blah...
