| | | help meee alright. so. I'm in an art show this weekend, and I need to pick one more piece.
I've narrowed it down to these, I'd pick them both, but I only want one like, musician/famous person in it. All my others are of just random people I know, basically.
so help me pick which one please! I'm stressed enough as it is. I'm fifteen and this is my first art "show."
p.s. I know the crown is shitty on the first one... I'll fix it up if I decide to show it. hah. |

and yeha, i like them both, but another thing is that I don't have any other paintings? I guess I should have mentioned that before
but alright, thanks alot. maybe it'll flow better, if theyre all sketches.
anyone else's opinions would be appreciated though!! |

| | | no shit, I love number one, a lot. I have no shit talking priviledges because I cannot draw like that, but fix the crown and you are so golden. At that point in time Court's face wasn't that thin, maybe widen it a tiny bit. It is still oh so striking and I love it. Sorta looks like Kristen. But both are gorgeous.

| | | Both are infinitely better than I could do. The shading on one is really good. The right eye is a bit Shannon Doherty. The shading on the neck of two makes him look older which is why I didn't suss it was him. I like the crown. |

| | | i actually think #2 is kinda blah..it feels too generic like somehting you'd find in a book to teach you how to draw. you really know how to draw but it feels like its taken from those books (even though i'm positive it isnt) or from toooo many classical drawing classes (trust me i have been there!) and having that generic technique everyonne who's taken to many art classes has had.
personally if you were too choose #1 which i would myself, i'd say don't even mess with it. that sort of unfinished quality is really good. sometimes artists make the mistake of overworking things when they really should jsut leave it alone. |

| | | very nice technique, esp the watercolor
but it would really behoove you to work from life and not photos.
cuz life = 3D into 2D
but photos are 2D to 2D.
does that make sense? 2D is already flat. |
