the eighties and nineties versus punk post 2005

started out with the end of the matrix with the original rage against the machine.
made me feel good. listened again. after all, when the fuck will you wake up?
you're not awake, you must be asleep and getting owned by the system no matter how hardcore your pose...
i then went into Robert Hazard and the Heroes, thinking of the nazi punk shits stinking lizaveta who STILL rule the west philly scene, especially that venal nazi homosexualist of a slumlord, papadopoulous and his geeksleazy bassplaying little brother. there's an obit i;ll love reading...shitters. Hazard, on the other hand, rocked so fucking hard, the low quality of the video didn't bring me down cause the song was so great.
next was now. i chose angels and airwaves -- everything's magic. it's upbeat. punk didn't do a LOT of that B. I. T. D.*...embedding was disabled. i am so sure it was the request of the label and not the act. this is why people hate emo and why they hated corporate rock...although to our credit, we gen xers knew it was CORPORATIONS that sucked...emo acts don't understand our not-THAT-old message...i have no hate for emo or emotions in music (trendy, stupid opinion with nothing better to add, period) but -- i still despise the corporations that suck the ideas out of young acts.
meg and dia were on deck at that point because, after angels and airwaves, they sing like angels. you know it.

MEG SINGS LIKE A WHITE BOY. anyway...it was time for the eighties again, with thirtythree minutes to go.
fields of the nephilim came to mind, as well as fishbone but PiL just sent me some email, and i don't like the look of almost ANY old town. It just made sense after that to go right to Nirvana, and that i did. but what would metacafe say?

i was using metacafe and video.google for selection of this eighties and nineties versus postpunk from the "early 21st century."
which they will call the OVERWHELMING meg and dia...wow...
PALACES...BARRICADES THREATS...MEET PROMISES...

I WANTED TO MAYBE LISTEN TO PARAMORE. I don't have a teevee now, and i don't listen to radio except for news or if it's on, and suddenly i heard in my head what did i ever see in that girl?

it didn't take long for me to remember...

Limp Bizkit didn't really kick Hayley's ass. They kicked Paramore's ass. I bet if it was 1999, Hayley would have agreed.
is she only in it for the money?
who left these kids unattended?

Limp don't pretend to be punk rock. That's a rocking ass bassline and did someone say bassline?

i skipped the extended version of fascination street. really, there was so much confusion in eighties scenes. i don't like those equal vision krishnacore kids. they're not righteous, i don't CARE what they fucking say. they can go to the airport and fuckin sell flowers...they have to leave me alone...
i closed with the video edit of fascination street (and played the MTV edit from 1986ish)because at most only a couple of kids were listening, i didn't have any of my own **shit** to put on and it was time to buy vodka. fuck the government.

ps

i never left
and i'm never leaving
and i LOVE you dumb fuckers.
longshot.
