i am actually too embarrassed to ask any of my teachers?

and whenever i have tired to explain it to anyone all i can say about it is....ITS LIKE RICKETY BUILDINGS DONE IN PEN AND MAYBE CROSS HATCHED AND NORMALLY OF PARIS. but, when i google parisian illulstation, or parisian motif and all that nothing comes up? there is a lovely book called illustrations of corfu? or something like that where she draws bits of corfu in this way but it was really expensive and didnt actually SAY anything about the style?

i mean these types are normally done in pen and ink and often cross hatched, this is just a random one that i found with some LUCK to illustrate my point!!
i mean the style of mostly drawing the tall buildings and outside city scenes?
i need to CATAGORIZE IT OR my brain might explode?

so, do you think there isnt a name for the actual motifs of weird little matchstick women and scratchy lamposts?

they are, more often than not perspective drawings but im more interested in the style they draw?
