Anyone done it?

I've got the basics down, but i reeeally want to know about half tones e.t.c.. so i can print a proper black and white photograph onto a t'shirt.

Any advice is appreciated..

I've also been very interested to learn about it, so I'll be watching this thread carefully.

As for halftones, the only way I can think of is to use something like the colour halftone tool from photoshop on a grayscale image.

Oooh. I'm really looking forward to taking a screen printing class at school! I imagine their are tons of tutorials online for what you're trying to do. This is a blog that popped up on Google:

Oh, i'm glad there are other people here who are interested in this. I can't seem to get my head around how printing halftones work, which is a pain in the fucking arse. I guess it'll be a case of trying & fucking it up alot.. which is cool, but there are always bits of advice which help immensely.

I probably won't get my fine detail screen for another couple of weeks, and even then i dunno if it will work. I have a mesh screen which will print block colour images but really it's useless for what I want to do. When all is said & done I might have spent a few hundred bucks on screens i don't need.

i'm looking forward to reading that link from SBeakon when my brain isn't winedrenched

Let's post any of our progress

good luck peoples
