I honestly just was shown that painting for the first time a few days ago
I actually do have a dali picture on my wall though, but I truly love everything he's done, since he was a teenager. He actually loathed being categorized as a surrealist painter.
Does anyone remember the Haring like paintings made into animations on sesame street? 
I admit it's a popular one. (That's the one on my wall^)
Though something is popular does not make it suddenly not as eye catching and striking even so.
Edit: I was thinking, if I had no idea it was a well known, stereotyped painting, and still fell in love with it at first sight...it just shows how great of a painting it actually is, doesn't it?
