hi does anyone know what the difference is in matted and unmatted when it comes to art prints?do you guys know of nice reasonably priced places that sell prints and places that do framing?what about stretched and unstretched?can you tell by looking if something is or isnt matted and is or isnt stretched.sorry if i posted this in the wrong area.

matted is when what you are getting, lets just say its a photo, is placed relatively in the center of a board and it looks nicer with that when its inside the frame. its like a border.

the cream colored border is the mat. but cream isnt your only option, this is just the first thing that came up in google

unmatted:

i dont know about stretched though
