PS - I hope the rest of the issues of Popknit are good too because Knitty and the AntiCraft are generally disappointing patternwise.

I finished up two hats for my husband's friend's newborn. I wanted to make a red one, but apparently that means something negative in Japan idk and they aren't animal/cupcake/viking hat people.

It bugs me that this one looks so sloppy. Like it looks more like a doily, or whatever, but I figure the baby could put it on a doll or something.


To compensate, I made this one.
