I just bought a digital camera having never had one before or used one before. I know if used right digital cameras are meant to make you look better but so far the pictures ive taken havent been particulary flattering and I look way worse in the pictures. So does anyone have any tips to take flattering photos on a digital camera?

when i'm taking self portraits with my digital i ALWAYS use the timer. and i put it on a tripod, as the whole bathroom-mirror-arm-in-picture pictures are sorta cliche.


the timer gives you time to pose hahah. i'm a loser like that, but it works really well.
