Great band photos (I'm yet to attempt taking pictures at a show) and I like the whole split flower in different colours idea

| | Thanks!
I saw the first photo in your last post (the guy with the dogs) and underneath where it says "random friend pictures," I thought he was a friend and I was like hmmm.. rough.
Poor guy. Nice shot though... especially with the dogs.
Ooooh... how far back did you have to go for that one? It's an oldie, but goodie. I actually went back and changed it to look like this:
much better, don't you think?

| | I believe it's on the second page of this thread haha.
Even though I like the black and white version, I think I like the colour one a tad bit more. Something about the yellow lips.
Oh, the guy with the dogs is a homeless guy in Gasparillo Trinidad who lives in the abandoned theater with a pack of stray dogs. He's the alpha male of the group It also looks like he's waving in that picture, but in reality he's smacking himself repeatedly in the head.

| | Here's another bunch of my stuff. Just got a new camera (Nikon D700), so I'm a very happy boy indeed. Shit myself this morning when I pulled it out of the camera case, only to see the front of my new 24-120 lens all broken... but thankfully it was just the UV filter that was damaged! So yeah, lesson there kids... much better to bust a £10 UV filter than a £400 lens!
Anyways... the photos...
The Glasgow weather I'm gonna miss...
I hope she doesn't mind me posting this, since you can't really recognise her...
I'm not sure if this is the one that took a shit on my head...
And my favourite piece of engineering ever... |

| | Great shots Ross, I don't mind at all, I love that photo The question is where am I gonna get a spare 10 quid this week, desperate times.
I've just done my first DIY roll of black and white film in the darkroom. I'm taking a weekend course in black and white photography with the main focus on learning the technical stuff about developing and printing. Tomorrow it's contact sheets and prints so hopefully I'll be able to post the results next week. My negatives actually turned out fine, I was paranoid they would be a disaster but now I'm very happy |
