| | I decided to shoot a little "photo essay" kinda thing for the first time the other week. I'm not entirely sure I got exactly what I was looking for, but still, I was reasonably satisfied with the outcome. The idea was to have a "behind the scenes" look at the stuff that you normally don't see at a small local rock gig in Glasgow. The idea was not to show the glitz and the glamour, but just what a few unknown rock bands do in tiny little venues in any city at any given time.
I've never actually tried shooting pictures with a real "purpose" before, if that makes sense, so it was kinda interesting to try and show a situation and tell a story through taking a bunch of photos.
So anyway, here are some of the pictures.     |

| | So at last I got a digital SLR, picked up the D80 last week. This is really the first time I've used full manual settings and shutter speed still confuses me but I'm sure I'll feel more comfortable after lots of practice.  |
