| | Hey Emma, would you consider posting your photoss in the smaller size, only because I can't actually see the entire photo on my screen at the same time! I'm sure other folk have big screens but I'm sadly lacking in that area |

| | Good pictures
I feel bad for those dogs though.
My neighbor has two grey hounds that were rescued from Tracks. One broke something in her foot and they were going to put her down or who knows. I don't remember what had happened to the other.

Ah this is the UK. People here are animals nuts. The track has its own adopt out programme for the dogs who have done racing, my friend is actually looking into getting one from them....
Track is closing soon though, its too expensive to keep running so its being torn down to build housing. Which is a shame because its a beautiful 1930s construction. I took some colour pics there too but it will probably be a while before I finish that film... |

Your friend should totally take one if the track is closing, they're probably looking for lots of homes.

Basically, the camera would've metered as if you had 125 film in and used longer shutter speeds than normal, pretty much overexposing the film by approx 1 & 2/3 stop. This would've left the film pretty "black" after developing, so the scanner's had to work a wee bit harder to see all the detail and make it into a useable image, hence the wee bit extra noise.
(Sorry for not telling you all this before you went to get the stuff developed!) |

(Sorry for not telling you all this before you went to get the stuff developed!) | Ok 'noise' = grainy? It's funny that stuff has been done to my film but I still have no clue, I'm really looking forward to this developing course so I can get a grasp of everything.
Thanks Emma, I like this set of pictures a lot. It was a good photo day and it's also not a place I'd normally go (except to score some crack). | |
