No, those aren't taken with my Nikon. I took them with my Pentax MG and a doubler lens (which were my mom's from forever ago)

| | | random flickr thought I'm totally addicted to flickr, love seeing all your photos on there Through browsing around flickr I've realised how much where you live/ location determines what photos you take. It might sound a bit obvious but people in cities tend to have lots of varied shots, street photography, cool buildings etc whereas countryside folks have more nature stuff. People in Wisconsin seem to like photos of their car I've added a couple of contacts who live in South America and it totally kills me to look at their photos because the natural light is soooo good, they are always at the beach and everyone is beautiful. I need to get some of that action! |

I live in a small town in the country (where I've lived my whole life) so I'm rather bored of the place and uninspired. I probably could go around looking for something interesting but I doubt I'll find much. This is why I take so many pictures of my pets and flowers (when there are flowers)
I'm leaving for Trinidad and Tobago in a week though, so I'll have more interesting pictures to show you guys when I get back. I plan to take loads of pictures.

| | so i ended up going, but i bought a bamboo flute for $3.50 and a friend and got distracted. i only took two photo's worth looking at at all, of some camels, and of my brother smoking a pipe for the first time.
there's a lot of things to photograph in the city, but i often feel bad for taking shots with people i don't know in them, and putting them up on the net. my friend says he saw a documentry with this super good old photographer and apparently he just walked around the streets shoving cameras in peoples faces and no one really cared. i don't know though....
i got told off for taking photos in a train station the other day.
i might go and find some bushland. theres a real dumpy area behind my old school that would be good. i've also noticed some really cool houses around the place. i should take my brothers band out and get them to pose for me!

| | mmm bathtime anyone?! I like the one with the windows, would be quite a good place to take someones photo maybe.
I know what you mean about taking photos in the street but I think if you're quite subtle about it then you can get good pictures- I'm still working on it! I thought I had a decent shot the other day but after looking at it on the computer I realised the expression on the girls face was actually saying 'what the fuck?' |

| | | yeah the bath made me kind of shrink in my skin, it was some old abandoned house outside my old school, that all the students say is haunted. it had big 'no tresspassing' signs, so i felt a bit naughty.
bookstore, i love that guy's photos. it's like people watching from the comfort of my bedroom! | |
