I have drawn a few things and I enjoy it, but its mostly stuff I have copied.

Like this, I copied it off that one Hole CD sleeve or whatever, but when I try to draw something on my own I can't think of anything, I want to do something on my own. Is it just because I'm a boring person? How could I think up something to draw instead of just copying it from somewhere?

I am the same.. If I draw from my own mind it turns out like this portrait I did of a girl I used to know:


I'm good at drawing landscapes but that is still "copying".

I can draw free-hand, looking at something. I can NOT draw from my own mind though.
