| | | your favorite art/artists of our time? i'm currently taking an art history class.. and i've noticed that all of the artists whose names are well-known are from the past: van gogh, warhol, monet, etc.
my question is: are there any artists that are creating works in our current time that are worth looking at? i've been somewhat familiar with the luminaries of the past, but i dont know anything when it comes to art today.
i dont know a lot about art, so any recommendations would be helpful.
thanks |

| | | Francis Alys. He does not have a lot of stuff on the internet, but there are plenty of exhibition catalogues out there with his work. Look for "Walking Distance from the Studio" |
